Join the Center for Data Innovation on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EDT for a conversation with Ben Shneiderman on his new book Human-Centered AI: Ensuring Human Control, Enhancing Human Performance. The book calls for researchers, developers, business leaders, policymakers, and others to embrace a “human-centered” perspective on AI, as opposed to a “technology-centered” focus, so as to better serve human needs. Advocates of human-centered AI believe that this approach can promote AI that furthers human values, rights, justice, and dignity by building, safe, reliable, and trustworthy systems.
