Nations are racing to achieve a global innovation advantage in artificial intelligence (AI), which can boost competitiveness, increase productivity, protect national security, and solve societal challenges. As a new report from the Center for Data Innovation shows, China, the European Union, and the United States are the leading competitors and each is expending significant resources to gain an advantage. While there is a growing belief among some experts that China is on a path to achieving dominance in AI, the facts on the ground still suggest that the United States maintains an advantage over its peers, at least for now.

Join the Center for Data Innovation for a keynote address by Michael Kratsios, Chief Technology Officer of the United States, followed by a panel discussion on the state of the global AI race and how policymakers can continue to support U.S. leadership in AI.
